Implants

Dental implants can be an effective long-term solution to replace one or multiple teeth. Studies show that implants provide greater structural support and last longer than bridges or dentures. They are typically constructed of titanium, a strong and safe material that effectively integrates with bone. Implants serve as the root to which new crowns are attached. This procedure usually involves 3 stages:

Implant insertion by an oral surgeon or periodontist
Healing process, which allows the implant to firmly bond to the bone
Attachment of the crown

Dental implants provide an excellent choice and prevent the reduction of adjacent teeth. They look and feel more like natural teeth versus traditional bridges or partials. The entire process takes approximately 3 to 6 months.
